Privacy Policy
Revised: October 2026
Your privacy is of great importance to Edafa. Whether you are a prospective customer or a visitor to the Edafa website, you are valued by Edafa. Edafa has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of those who visit and use our websites. We follow the guidelines below to protect any personal information you provide to us.
If you have any questions about this page, please contact us.
Information we collect
To answer your request, we sometimes ask for standard information such as your name, title, company name, phone number and email address. We also collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us by email, aggregate information on which pages visitors access, and questions submitted to us online.
How we use information
Edafa processes personal information to provide you with specific services, such as replying to your request, answering a live chat query where live chat is available on our website, or registering you for a specific sales promotion and having a sales representative contact you. We do not use your personal information for any purpose other than the one for which it was provided.
Contact form enquiries
When you send an enquiry through the contact form on our website, we collect:
- the type of enquiry and the platform you are interested in;
- your full name, company and work email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
- your message;
- your CV (as a PDF file), if you apply for a role by choosing “Careers”;
- your consent to be contacted, and the page and time from which the enquiry was sent;
- whether you would like to receive news and updates from Edafa, if you tick that optional box.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, for example to answer your questions, arrange a demonstration or follow up on a sales or partnership request. It is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection directly to Edafa’s own enquiry management system, where it is accessible only to the Edafa staff who handle your request.
If you tick the optional box to receive news and updates, we will occasionally email you about Edafa and our platforms until you unsubscribe. Every such email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at info@edafa.com. If you do not tick the box, we will not send you marketing emails; we will only contact you about your enquiry.
To protect the form from spam and automated abuse, we limit how often enquiries can be sent and may use an automated bot-protection check, which processes technical information such as your IP address for that purpose only.
We keep enquiry records only for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, or as required by law. CVs are used only to assess your application and are kept for one year so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete yours sooner. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Maps and directions
Our Contact page displays an interactive map provided by OpenStreetMap. To show the map, your browser loads map images directly from servers operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the address of the page you are viewing. This information is handled under the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
If you choose the “Get directions” link, you will be taken to Google Maps, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to your use of that service.
Information security
Edafa uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encrypted connections and access restricted to authorised staff. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us.
Your rights and applicable law
Edafa processes personal data in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations.
Subject to that law, you may ask to know what personal data we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct or update it, to have it deleted, to withdraw your consent, or to object to or restrict its processing. To make a request, email info@edafa.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Accuracy and liability
Edafa takes reasonable steps to ensure that the content of Edafa’s websites is accurate, but makes no representations as to its accuracy or completeness. In no event will Edafa or any authorised representative of Edafa be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, business interruption or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Edafa website, whether such damages are based on warranty, contract, tort or any other theory of liability.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Edafa reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. If our Privacy Policy changes, we will post the changes on our website to notify you.
Links to third-party websites
Links on the Edafa website to third-party websites are provided solely as a convenience to you. If you use these links, you will leave the Edafa website, and you do so entirely at your own risk. Edafa is not obliged to review such third-party websites, does not control them and is not responsible for them. Edafa therefore makes no representations about such websites, or about any information, software, products, services or materials found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them.
